How TDFM Inffra Builds India’s CNG Future

Map of India showing TDFM Infrfa’s CNG pipeline network across 13 states and 74 districts, with highlighted locations and a summary of TDFM Inffra’s mission to deliver clean, affordable CNG fuel nationwide through pipeline and filling station projects.

Thirteen States. Seventy-Four Districts. One Mission for India’s Clean CNG Future.

Thirteen states. Seventy-four districts. One unyielding mission: delivering government-mandated clean CNG fuel and city gas distribution as the sustainable, affordable backbone of tomorrow’s transportation infrastructure.

Since the Clean Fuel Mandate was enacted, TDFM Infra, a leader in CNG pipeline infrastructure, gas transmission, and city gas projects, has been at work across:

  • North: Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand

  • West: Rajasthan, Maharashtra

  • Central: Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh

  • East & Northeast: Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal

  • South: Tamil Nadu, Karnataka

Each of these 74 districts presented unique challenges—laying high-pressure pipelines through congested cities, navigating monsoon-swollen rivers, and managing multi-agency regulatory approvals. At every turn, our teams met the mandate head on, ensuring reliable, cost-effective CNG supply to homes, commercial fleets, and public transport depots.

Engineering Brilliance in Action

  1. Pipeline Networks: Over 4,200 km of high-pressure steel and MDPE pipelines, designed and constructed for resilience across diverse terrains, seismic zones, and urban environments.

  2. Compressor Hubs: 36 advanced compressor stations, engineered for energy efficiency, remote monitoring, and high throughput, integrating IoT-enabled safety and control systems.

  3. CNG Filling Stations: 185 public and private CNG outlets, each equipped with state-of-the-art leak detection, safety interlocks, and automated operations for maximum uptime.

Rigorous safety audits, environmental impact assessments, and ongoing community engagement are built into every project plan—because sustainable infrastructure thrives on trust, safety, and technical excellence.

Beyond Fuel: Delivering Real-World Impact

  • Cleaner Air: Reducing an estimated 1.2 million tons of CO₂ emissions annually—the equivalent of removing 300,000 cars from India’s roads.

  • Cost Efficiency: Lowering fuel costs by up to 40% per kilometer for buses, autorickshaws, and commercial vehicles through CNG adoption.

  • Local Empowerment: Generating over 1,500 skilled jobs in pipeline installation, operations, and maintenance—spurring local micro-entrepreneurship at every filling station.

Charting the Next Frontier

As India accelerates toward net-zero emissions, TDFM Infra is already piloting:

  • Bio-CNG and Hydrogen Blends: Integrating renewable gas sources and hydrogen-ready pipelines for future-proof infrastructure.

  • Electric–CNG Hybrid Stations: Combining rapid EV charging with CNG dispensers to deliver true multi-fuel mobility.

  • AI-Powered Optimization: Using IoT sensors and artificial intelligence for real-time pipeline monitoring, predictive maintenance, and smart supply-demand balancing.

Our journey through 13 states and 74 districts is more than just lines on a map—it’s a testament to what strategic partnership, engineering innovation, and unwavering commitment can achieve. At TDFM Infra, we’re not just fueling vehicles; we’re empowering communities, improving air quality, and making sustainable, affordable mobility a reality for millions.

One mission endures: Powering India’s green transportation future, state by state, district by district.
